Description
GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine (GHK). It carries the molecular formula C14H24N6O4·Cu and a molecular weight of approximately 403.9 g/mol (CAS 89030-95-5).
GHK occurs endogenously and was first characterized in plasma; the copper complex is studied as a reference compound in matrix-biology and coordination-chemistry research. It is supplied as a blue lyophilized powder.
